Who doesn't love attending parties? It's fun to escape the rigors of our daily lives and become a pirate, medieval knight, or astronaut if only for a few hours - especially these days.

I learned everything I did about theme party planning by trial and error over a number of years. A friend suggested I put up this website to share that knowledge with you to make your own party planning easier and so that you don't repeat making the same mistakes I did. And I made plenty of mistakes along the way, believe me!

Note: When I moved to my new house I cleaned house big time, not wanting to move anything that wasn't absolutely necessary, Since I'm retired, I threw out all of the original party photos I'd taken over the years, figuring What do I need these for anymore? (Isn't that always the way it goes?)

So I apologize I no longer have all of my original party photos - but I'll use my computer graphics program and existing photos to give you some kind of a visual as to what I did and of the theme parties I created. I'll also give you links to present day party item sources and current costs on needed items, along with tutorials, recipes, etc.

I fell into a theme party planning side business quite accidentally, the result of throwing Halloween parties for the neighborhood kids.

I guess I had a talent for it, as word of mouth spread of my over-the-top parties planned and carried out on a shoestring budget. Before I knew it, I had a list of clientele wanting me to plan parties for them!

I LOVED party planning! It was never about the money for me. It was about bringing smiles to people's faces and creating lifelong memories.

Although I'm retired now, a friend suggested I put up a website detailing some of the parties I used to plan, in order that others could benefit from my ideas and use them in creating their own parties. Consider it done!
